Singing Rent
"...There is no future. There is no past. I live this moment as my last. There's only us. There's only this. Forget regret or life is yours to miss. No other road, no other way, no day but today..." - No Day but Today from Rent
Happy Easter!! Buona Pascua! Okay, for the last part, I have no idea if the spelling's okay. Haha! Typing it as it sounds like.
Another thing that I'm hooked up to right now other than One Tree Hill is the songs from Rent.
We didn't go out today. We were too afraid my papa would get sick again. Haayyy...what I do for them. I mean yeah, despite the fact that we don't see eye to eye on a lot of things, I still love ‘em.
We went to church at the Rogationist's. It was where we used to go to before I got addicted to shopping and before I switched schools (from unknown gradeschool school *so redundant* to rockin' AC). Anyway, when I was a kid, all the priests, who at that time were mostly Italian, were quite fond of me. Of course, since I was a cutesy adorable little girl! Haha! These days though, our old Italian priest friends have gone to different parts of the world, spreading the faith, and luckily, during today's mass, one of them was here. Someone we haven't seen in a long time. After the mass, predictably, we went to talk to them and just mingle with them for a while. There were three presiders, and all of them were old friends. So we were there and greetings of Happy Easter/Buona Pascua (hope no one who understands Italian reads this...I will be shamed!) were exchanged between churchgoers and the priest. Then this Filipino priest looked at me and commented on how before I was just a little girl (along with the hand indicating my height). Then he asked if I was going to high school. TSSS!!! Okay, well...seriously, I don't know whether that was a compliment or something else. As I was gonna say that I would be an incoming third year in college, my mom butts in and says that I'm in 2nd year college. Okay, thanks for making me one year younger. Talk talk talk. Well, we got invited to dinners/lunch/celebrations and vice versa.
There was a freaky moment though. Well...not totally freaky, but flattering as well. Haha! Just ask me.
I'm loving Jimmy Eat World, Weezer, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, Gavin DeGraw, Junior Senior, Michael Tolcher, PINK!! Saving Jane, Rooney. Woohoo!!
Sooo hungry!!! Today, let's see. I ate roasted chicken, beef teriyaki, pumpkin soup and bacon with rice. And now, I'm hungry again!!!!
