Addicted

I'm currently addicted to Su Doku. Anyone familiar with that game? It's originally a Japanese game, a number-placing puzzle where-in you have to complete the puzzle by putting the numbers 1-9 in the boxes. The trick is, the numbers shouldn't repeat horizontally and vertically. It's cool and addicting. Haha!

Currently watching Inuyasha in KAC. Sugoi!

*sigh* Have to wake up at 6 again tomorrow...or later this morning. Then wait wait wait until I see Tubby again, hehehe :D mwah!

Da Vinci Code madness

Tch. Papa's going out of the country again...:(

Went shopping yesterday...Wasn't enough, I need to shop again. On Tuesday, perhaps Wednesday, don't know, as long as I shop. I need more tops, new ballet flats, strappy slippers/sandals, Bermuda shorts, pants and skirts. And maybe I'd throw in a dress or two. I won't bother with bags for now. I'll just use my old ones, maybe tweak it a bit or so.

Da Vinci Code. It's everywhere. Movies, articles, books, even the sermon in today's mass. All the fuss it's causing...but I guess they have a point. I mean yeah, it is fiction after all, but he didn't have to walk around and say that what he wrote about are facts, like Jesus and Mary Magdalene, the gospels, the "secret" documents, etc because they are not. But I guess the reason why the Church is making all these fuss is because they are afraid for the ignorant and the indifferent people. For the former because they easily accept what is said without question and for the indifferent people, it's because they themselves may not know what they believe in or are confused. Yes, this book is rendered blasphemous and most find this as a way to make money, but again, it is all fiction. But anyway, it's the person's responsibility to know.

DVD marathon

Weh. I tried watching When A Stranger Calls earlier and I um...haha! I chickened out! Hello. I was all alone on the first floor, at midnight and hay, basta, haha!

Anyhoo, happy happy! Got to talk to my dear sis tonight! Whee! Happy I got to talk to you and Aila too. I love you all. You guys are the best :D Pauline's (tama ba spelling?) voice is so beautiful. Dapat pala pinakanta ko pa. Anlamig nga ng boses. Next time, I'll try to go to your v-bol prax. I need the work-out anyway. Hope our sleepover pushes through. Sige na please :p

Watching One Tree Hill again. Yeah, like half of the third season. You owe me the next episodes haha! :D But the songs are great. Sure they're not that known, but their songs rocks.

We saw a war film earlier today. It was called The Fallen. I usually do not watch war films. I just find it too violent, unreasonable and just plain stupid, but this war film focused on a different aspect. On the feelings and emotions of the people and not just the killings, the bombings, the strategies, but about what the people felt, etc etc. It was the war in Italy were Italians allied with the Germans against the Americans and the Italian partisans. It was funny in some parts coz it showed how the Italians paid more attention to their stomach than killing and manning their posts. It's like what my ma said, it was a 'personal film,' for my dad that is. I mean, he was already alive when the war happened. Well, like all films, they die.

Football fever

"...But your fears fall on deaf ears..." - by Dashboard Confessional

Let's all go to Germany and watch the World Cup! Haha! I sooooo wanna go! Oh sure I can watch it on tv but it's not the same! The energy, the passion, it will all just sweep you away. But...football fans in Europe can be really scary. They are so into the game that riots and fights break out. Eek.

Hay naku. my ma is driving me crazy, again! TSS!!

I'm having really vivid dreams lately. Dreams where every detail is so clear, the faces, the places, the things...as usual, they're quite weird. People and events mixing when they do not go together. Past experiences combined with new ones. Basta, it's all muddled up.

I watched Tristan and Isolde, Just Friends and Fruits Basket again last night until this morning. Couldn't really sleep hehe! So many thoughts running on my mind.

Taylor and Katharine left. *sigh* It's really sad not to have Chris and Elliot as the finalists.

No pilates yesterday! It was cancelled coz only Tash and I came. The rest skipped out on us. Hay. I ended up hanging out in her house, talk talk talk. Haha!

...

...it doesn't seem like it...:(

Happy monthsary!

"When you love someone, they can make you feel sad sometimes. Sometimes, they can make you feel lonely, but they can make you feel happier than you've ever been." - Hana from Fruits Basket, Episode 18

***HAPPY MONTHSARY!!! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!***

a message for a P-I-G

Remember, if you mess with ONE, you mess with ALL!!! And you...I can't explain how I feel about you. I don't like what you've done and I MOST ESPECIALLY DON'T LIKE WHAT YOU'VE BEEN SAYING. In fact, I HATE IT! I've given you a LOT of chances, second chances, third chances, I've listened to you, and I even helped once or twice. You made mistakes and at times you redeemed yourself, but this time you've dug your own grave. You may know what you want in life, be focused, be liked by parents, but something's WRONG with your ATTITUDE or maybe with what you really FEEL! How DARE you say you love her and YET!! YOU BASH HER LIKE SHE'S NOTHING TO YOU! You are such a J-E-R-K!! After all those insinuations, all those accusations, you have a NERVE to say that you LOVE her. You don't deserve her because she deserves far MORE than you. Think about what you've done and think about what you've did, and if you still don't realize the mistakes you did, I feel sorry for you. P-I-G.

Fruits Basket

I woke up around 11:30 today! Haha! The reason for that was because I slept at 4 am this morning. I chatted with a lot of people last night, whee! I really miss KRACI you know? And like Rica said, we are such an international barkada. 3 people have already left for different countries and now it's Chess's turn. How sad...really sad! :(

Anyhoo, I had pilates class yesterday! Ahahahaha! And today, I'm feeling the effects! Joke. But it is kinda ouch.

Wahaha! I'm watching Fruits Basket. It's so kawaii!! Can't believe I missed these series.

Would you try to understand?

"...I believe this is heaven to no one else but me and I'll defend it as long as I can be left here to linger in silence. If I choose to, would you try to understand?" - Elsewhere by Bethany Joy Lenz

Well, it seems as if God has been clear about His signs this time. It's there with the tv shows I watch, with what my dad says, and of course, this little voice inside of me. There's no doubt that of course I'll follow what the world has been conspiring against me. It's what I know I won't do, and trust that I'll be true to my word. I promise you, I promise myself (it sounds grammatically wrong) and I promise God.

Anyway, total bonding today with Papa. Okay, not totally totally, but we just spent 3 hours together. We dropped off Mama, as usual, 130 at the Italian Embassy. We then proceeded to MC Depot to look for materials/ideas for the renovation of our house which I don't know when they plan to start...SO MANY problems! Then we went to the Fort Strip. Of course it was raining with the erratic wind. So we walked under the rain. Talk about doing things together. If he gets sick, I'm to blame. Hehe. After that, we went to Glorietta and ate at Le Couer de France and tanan! The talk begins. Okay, I'm getting quite jealous here. You're always the topic of our conversation. Wala na, selos na ako! Haha! Just kidding. I love you! *mwah* So anyway, we talked about a number of things. Of boys...i mean men (especially one in particular, hehe! ;D), of sex, of marriage, of money, of my future, of my gender (which is of course...hmm...you guys determine it nalang :p), of his past...until 5pm when my mom arrived. Phew! Nah! But I'm glad we had that conversation. YEY!!!

Anyway, at MC Depot, we saw this divinely wonderful leather couch! WAAHH!! I want! It's made out of cow skin, but the style, texture and of course the material...it was calling out my name! I swear, when I have my own house, I'll have a leather couch. It may not be of that same style and all, but something similar. We looked at windows, doors, marbles, granites, bathtubs, toilets...my mind was already planning my dream house. Haha! And it's not gonna come cheap. Besides, it'll be built in Tuscany, alongside the mountains, where the wind blows and where wildflower grows...I'll have my own vineyard, live beside my sister's house, grow a beautiful garden, and since it has 4 seasons, I'll be able to plant a cherry blossom tree...*sigh* It's so nice to dream ain't it?

I miss you! Hope to see you soon!! *mwah*

Sleep

America sucks!!! They voted Chris out! How unfair is that!?! Tssss!!! Can't they see that it should be Katherine who should have left last night? Hello! As much as the woman has talent, she can't compare to those 3 guys! Humph.

Well, at least my day didn't start on that note. I went out with Marco again yesterday! :D We saw White Chicks again. But before that, I accompanied my mom first to the bank, then I ate brunch while she ate lunch. I got home around 4 which wasn't bad since my dad expected me home before 5. And we didn't get caught. His car was coding, and we were wary of MMDAs and policemen. We kept on looking for cars whose plates ended in either 7 or 8 haha! My parents are kinda disappointed with me though. They said I've been wasting my time lately by going out. What can I say? It is summer vacation after all. I do have a right to not do anything.

However, there was another downside yesterday. I had more red spots all over my body than the previous day. I was allergic to something...or someone? Hehe, just kidding. But yeah, it was annoyingly frustrating. I couldn't scratch it of course or else...So my mom made me drink half of the tablet that she gave my dad before when he had allergies. She wanted me to go to the clinic in Merville but I didn't want. Tss. Gastos. The effect of the medicine? I felt drunk. Haha! My body felt sooo heavy. I couldn't even get up from the couch. Then today, I woke up at 1130. Talk about a good night's rest. Too good a rest that my mom became paranoid and thought I wouldn't wake up. Hmm...I wonder, if I took the whole tablet, what would become of me? *shrugs* But to anyone who cares, I'm feeling better now haha! :D

Nice weather today though. Cloudy, cool...a nice weather to just sleep to, curl in your bed and read or to just write.

Camp reunion on the 18th...should I go?

Haaayyy...

Sleepy...super sleepy...

I'm really sleepy right now, but this is the state where I feel like writing down what I feel...and I guess, the state where my mind becomes fuzzy and all, and the outcome sometimes may be a one big confused mess of words.

Went out today! I first went to school. I arrived at a bad timing though coz everyone at that had classes. *pouts* But it was all good coz Marco arrived and we went out. We arrived just in time for lunch with Charmie and Debs. Whee! I got to see my sisters! Though we didn't really get to talk talk, it was still good to see both of you :D We dropped lil sis at SOM, then went to Bellarmine with Debs to go to the registrar's office. Tsss!!! The server was down because there was a blackout for some time so we had to wait or go back. We opted for the latter. We dropped Debs at Moro after. We went back to school and thank God that the server was already up. Phew! And I got home just in time. Thanks sweetie! I love you so much!! :D

Today was really hot. Well, it's nothing new. I just like stating the obvious. Icky. Sweaty. Eew.

Haaaayyy...

Pinoy Big Leader

"You are the source of the life. I can't be left behind. No one else will do. I will take hold of You.

I need You, Jesus to come to my rescue. Where else can I go? There's no other name by which I am saved. Capture me with grace, I will follow You.

This world has nothing for me. I will follow You."
Rescue by Desperation

This song was played during camp, when P. Ro showed us a clip from The Passion of Christ, when our counselors were washing our feet and during the bonfire. When it was first played, the lines that struck me most are the lines in bold face. "I need You, Jesus to come to my rescue."

Truth be told, I really didn't want to join the youth camp. First off, I didn't know anyone except for Krista and a few of her friends which she introduced to me before. Pinoy Big Leader. That was the camp's theme. Sure I was a bit excited and all, but deep inside I couldn't help but think that it was a waste of time. I'd rather stay behind, go out or stay at home. But God works in mysterious ways. You never know what comes next. The mom wanted me to go, my dad agreed and my best friend was going so what the heck, why not see what this was all about. So the days before, I prepared my things; prepared my hero costume, clothes and toiletries. The day arrived. We arrived an hour early before the meeting time. No traffic. We arrived to find around 4 people also arrived early. As we waited for people to arrive, I was introduced to people, and it wasn't so bad after all. I mean yeah, it was sad at first that Sta wasn't my teammate, but I think that was good since I got to meet more new people.

The first day was just lotsa and lotsa free time. Had a few group dynamics, but other than that, it was a day full of rest. At night, we had praise and worship (plenary), and while singing, I really felt like crying. It was just an overwhelming feeling. It's like your heart's gonna burst. Then P. Ro started talking, and something he said struck me. He said that for some time, he was contented living his life without Him. Hit right on the target because that's exactly how I feel. I mean, I'm living a comfortable life right now. I have everything: family, friends, good school, okay grades...What more should I pray for? And for him, it took an accident for him to realize that. I prayed that it didn't take that extreme situation for me to really really realize it.

Second day was more tiring because we had the Eagle Challenge. In the morning, we again had praise and worship and a lecture by P. H about leadership. After lunch, we had the challenge. It consisted of 5 challenges/games that the teams should accomplish in 30 minutes. Haaayyy...It was funny because whoever lost would be serving dinner. At the end of the day, they announced the winner, but they started from 4th place up, leaving the winner and the loser last. Second place was announced and our team wasn't included yet so we were really nervous about it. Haha, we didn't want to serve and by God's grace, we won!!! Whee! BUT when we were preparing for plenary, the results changed since they recounted the points. We fell to third place.

Third day. We had Counselor's Hunt and Gawgaw fight. Fun fun fun!!! During the counselor's hunt, well...the name says it all. Our counselors had to hide and each of them had assigned points. They could hide in the trees, bushes, anywhere. It was tiring to run back and forth and look for them. Then to literally carry the counselor since they will fight back. Grabe. Kawawa yung iba kasi pati yung mga damit nagkapunit-punit na. Gawgaw fight was the most fun of all. At first, they announced that the cleanest team would be the winner, but at the end, the dirtiest won coz some hid. It was icky. Sticky!! Your skin, you shirt, even the hair. And when it dried up, man, you look all wrinkly. At night, we had to dress up as a hero during dinner, and we also had Talent Night which was presented by groups. After that, we had bonfire until 130 in the morning, which was followed by praise and worship. That night/morning, I slept at 430 and we woke up at around 9 just in time for breakfast at 10.

It was fun. 4 days of fun!! And I'm glad, and very grateful to have attended. ^_^
